This past few weeks have been solid in a really good, but a little bit stressful way. I seem to be developing my alcoholism nicely and am on to around a grade 3. Escaping reality is so much fun. So here's an update on the life of me.

The majority of the crew of Bring Me Joy, a film I'm production managing.

This is Mavis, the "production cat". There are no words to express my joy at being in the presence of this animal.

The following are pictures from the benefit gig at Matilda on Saturday. My pictures were mainly rubbish as I somehow managed to imbibe a copious amount of alcohol (note: if you're up at 6.30am go to bed before 3.30, don't say I didn't warn you). Big Difference feature heavily because they are fast punk goodness. This may well be Matilda's final gig so at least it was a good one: they lost in court yesterday and had costs awarded against them. It's a crying shame!

That'd be my trip to Lincoln (below). It's not as bad as anticipated by me. And look at the cathedral, it's quite pretty (yes, that's the second picture: Adam is not a large building of worship commonly regarded as the identifying distinction between a town and a city).

Somehow I've managed to attend/have a party every night since Tuesday and here are the results. Yes, for the record, I am a wreck and I need sleep and liver recovery.

The following are photos from the Flatlands house gig on Friday. It was quite a night! Death of Her Money are my favourite Welsh people and they fully rock too...

Flatlands rocked the joint. I'll hear no arguments...

And Red Stars brought the rock too, despite having to play the tiniest slot due to it being uber late and the fact that the neighbours were on the war path...

6/6/6 was Matt's birthday. He had a party with a buffet consisting of entirely red food. I drank cherry lambrini because it's red and £1.69 a bottle and I am a classy lady! I bought Matt a kite.

Ben thinks he's Morrisey. This photo makes me want to hit him for thinking he's Morrisey. Morrisey is not a good human being.

Flatlands in Bristol last week innit....
